Anita J. Grugle, 92, of New London, died Monday, May 25, 2009 at Twlight Gardens Nursing Home, Norwalk. She was born April 13, 1917 in Elyria to the late Clarance and Alvina (nee Reiher) Poole. She lived in Elyria until moving to New London in 1987, and later moved to Norwalk. Anita was in the class of 1933 at Elyria High School. She was a avid Browns and Indians Fan. Survivors include her 2 daughters, Judi (Paul) Winiarski of New London and Candy (Steve) Hartsock of Roanoke, VA; 6 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Curtis, her great grandson, Paul Wegner, and her sister, Maxine Weller. A private graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at the Fitchville Cemetery.
