Ann Marie (nee Pech) (Gfell) Ryan, 83, of Norwalk, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022. She was born on June 10, 1938 to the late Lea (nee Paillet) and Joachim Pech.

She was an avid sports fan, especially OSU and the Browns, and loved to watch and play tennis. Ann enjoyed visiting lighthouses and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ann was a devout Catholic and member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.

Ann is survived by her children, Erin (John) Lendrum, Jill Roberts, Lynn (Kenneth) Espvik, Gretchen Gfell, Stephen (Nancy) Gfell, and Cynthia Gfell; grandchildren, Alex (Kathy), Emily (Kyle), Meredith, Sara (Ken), Hannah (Simon), Hakon, Paige (Brett), Abigail, Thomas, and Tyson; great-grandchildren, Vivian, Ellyana, and Cooper; sister, Fran Moynihan; sister-in-law, Nora Pech; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her sons-in-law, David Roberts and Michael Holdren; brother, Bernard Pech; and brother-in-law, Ted Moynihan.

Her family will receive guests at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 1322 Settlement Road, Norwalk, Ohio on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
