Obituary

Anna Mae Fallen, 65, of Plymouth, died Monday, September 7, 2009 at her residence. She was born July 12, 1944 in West Virginia to late Hobart Ray and Lucy Irene Sycoc. Anna worked at Mercy Hospital in Willard for 17 years in home health care. She was a member of the North Fairfield House of Prayer. Anna played the mandolin for the Glory Land Singers, a blue grass gospel group who recorded many cd's and tapes. Along with her husband, Anna had a weekly radio station on Sundays. Anna also donated her time to surrounding nursing homes. Survivors include her children, Bill (Veronica) Hartman of Fitchville, Lisa Mills of Willard, Jackie Hartman of Fitchville and Rosa (Wayne) King of Norwalk; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Ralph Sycoc of LaGrange and Inez Davidson of Elyria. She was preceded by her husband, R.B. Fallen; son, Fred Hartman II; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation will be Thursday, September 10 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the North Fairfield House of Prayer on State Route 162 where a funeral service will take place Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dan Clouse officiating. Memorials can be made to the House of Prayer, c/o 1260 Keiffer Road, Mansfield, Ohio 44093. Arrangements were entrusted to Eastman Funeral Home.
