Anna Elizabeth Goodman, 81, of New London, died Monday, August 1, 2011, at the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Firelands, New London. She was born September 13, 1929, in Wakeman, to the late Max and Carolena (Leimbach) Kellar. She moved to New London as a freshman in High School and graduated from New London High School with the class of 1947. Anna worked for Fraternal Supplies and formerly C.E. Ward Company since 1978. She also worked with her husband at Goodman's Farm & Lawn. Anna will be remembered for her generosity to others, her homemade candies and baked goods, and her love of animals. Anna was a member of the New London United Methodist Church. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David (Linda) Goodman of Ashland; daughter-in-law, Sharon, of New London; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Jenkins, of Florida. Preceded in death by her husband, Harold Goodman, Jr., whom she shared 49 years; sons, Dennis Goodman and Dale Goodman; half brother, Ralph Kellar and sisters, Margaret Paramore and Esther Gentry. She will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to your nearest animal shelter, the American Heart Association, or Hospice of North Central Ohio. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 4th from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London. Burial will follow at Grove Street Cemetery, New London.
