Anna Ruth Stocking, age 94, of Rochester Twp., died Saturday, November 30, 2013 at New Life Hospice, Lorain. She was born October 4, 1919 in Oberlin, daughter of the late John and Helen (Ksenic) Urbansky. Anna had lived most of her life in Rochester Twp. She was a homemaker. Anna devoted her life to her family and the family farm. She loved cooking and gardening. She is survived by her children, Nancy (Harold) Kinsey of Polk, Melvin (Marie) Stocking of Wellington, Robert Stocking of Rochester, Linda (Lee) Farquharson of Fredericksburg, Va.; 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Stocking, whom she had been married to for 60 years until his death in 1998, her son, Marvin O. Stocking, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Private services were held. Burial took place at the Brighton Twp. Cemetery. Memorials may be given to New Life Hospice, 3500 Kolbe Rd., Lorain, Ohio 44053.
