Annabelle R. Rumsey, age 72, of New London, died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at her home. She was born July 31, 1938 in Wellington Twp., daughter of the late Dugal and Ruth (Mohrom) Lee. Annabelle had been a lifelong resident of the Wellington and New London areas. She had worked as a cutter at the C.E. Ward Co., New London for over 30 years. She was a former member of the Wellington Grange 1339. She is survived by her children, Barbara Hardy of Norwalk and John Rumsey of LaGrange; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; her siblings, Viola Wilson of Spencer and Geraldine Burnett of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Rumsey in 2008 and 2 brothers, Oscar and Lynn Lee. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St., New London. Private burial will take place at Grove Street Cemetery.
