Anthony Robert Erick (Fortier), 21, of Wellington died in Florida. Anthony was born on December 19, 1989 in Oberlin to Christina and the late Anthony Fortier. He spent most of his youth in Lorain. Anthony graduated from Wellington High School in 2007 and currently attended The Ohio State University in Columbus where he majored in chemical engineering. Anthony was a proud member of the Theta Tau Fraternity.
While in high school, Anthony was a member of the drama club and the Wellington Dukes baseball team. He played 9 years on the LYB in Lorain. A light hearted young man, Anthony enjoyed skateboarding and spending time with his many friends. He also loved music and played the guitar. Anthony will be remembered for his ability to make people laugh in any situation.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Christina (nee Erick) Fortier and Brian Starbuck; siblings, Matthew Strong, of Lima, Aaron Fortier, Taylor Fortier and Christian Fortier, all of Wellington, Shane and Justin Starbuck, both of Amherst; grandmother, Mae Greenwald, of Wellington and Judy Starbuck and Florence Studd, both of Amherst; aunts, Debby Isner, of WV, Patty Cole, of LaGrange, and Carol Porter, of Elyria, and uncle, Billy Erick, of KY and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father in 1994 and uncle, David Greenwald in 2006.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, March 29 from 4-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 30 at 11 a.m. Expressions
