Anthony P. Koreski, 63, of New London, died Tuesdsay, September 27, 2011 at his home. Born in Lorain on October 4, 1947 to the late Chester A. and Anna Mae (nee Smith) Koreski, Anthony lived in Elyria for many years before moving to the rural New London area in the mid 1980s. After graduating from Clearview High School, Anthony proudly served in the U.S. Army as a military policeman during the Vietnam Era in Korea. He also was an Elyria Police Officer and a member of the Wellington VFW. Survivors include his sisters, Denise (Jeffrey) Rodisel, of Sandusky, and Susanne Koreski, of Huron; neice, Anna Rodisel and nephew, Jeffrey Rodisel, both of Sandusky. A memorial service will be held Monday, October 3, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. Donations in memory of Anthony may be directed to the Wellington VFW, 207 N. Main St., Wellington, Ohio 44090.
