Ardith McFadden, 88, of Sullivan, died Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Kingston of Ashland. Born in Elyria on February 23, 1936, Ardith was the daughter of the late Robert and Gertrude (nee Richards) Handley.

Ardith worked for several years for the Black River School District in the Treasurer's Office as the payroll clerk. She loved growing plants.

She is survived by her children, Julie (Steve) Niewiadomski, Daniel McFadden, David McFadden and Doug (Audrey) McFadden; grandchildren, Megan Moss, Lindsay Posatiere, and Jared McFadden; great grandchildren, Brooke, Kyla, Liam, Evan, Rhett and Della; and siblings Arlen Handley and Larry Handley. Ardith was preceded in death by her husband, C. Don McFadden and brother, Leslie Handley.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 12 from 1-4 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main Street, Wellington.
