Arick D. Behrendsen, age 36, of Greenwich, died Friday, March 27, 2009 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born March 31, 1972. He had been living at home after leaving Texas where he had lived for ten years. He was a 1990 graduate of South Central High School. Arick was in the U.S. Army from 1990 to 1995. he had worked at Del Corporation in Texas. He loved computers and spending his free time with friends. He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Ruth (Chinell) Behrendsen of Greenwich; his daughter, Samantha of Texas; his brother, Clark (Beth) Behrendsen of Willard; 2 nieces of Willard; he had numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilbert and Jean Behrendsen and Gail and 'Lou' Chinell. A memorial service with military rites will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at the Ripley Church, 4130 South Edwards Rd., Greenwich with Pastor David Cobb officiating. Eastman Funeral Home, Greenwich assisted with arrangements.
