Norwalk, Ohio - Arleda J. Carter, 60, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017 in her home. She was born September 22, 1956 in Fleming, Ohio. Arleda was a former Cleveland, Ohio, resident, and came to Norwalk in 2004 from New London, Ohio. She is a member of the Second Baptist Church of New London, Ohio. Arleda was a former employee of Brinks, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio, Kent Sporting Goods of New London, Ohio, and N & N, Inc. (Whirlway) of Wellington, Ohio. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, playing bunko, domino's, and spending time with her grandchildren. Arleda is survived by her sons, Darwin D. Marshall of New London, Ohio, Carlos R. (Jennifer) Peeples of Norwalk, Ohio, Tio D. Peeples of Norwalk, Ohio, and Larry J. Peeples, Jr. of Norwalk, Ohio, by her foster children Elvonsha Knowlton, of Cleveland, Ohio, Dakida Knowlton, of Sandusky, Ohio, and Jimmy Samuels, of Norwalk, Ohio, by her mother, Donna J. Randleman of New London, Ohio, and 10 grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Rodney L. (Dorothy) Marshall of Belpre, Ohio, Gregory A. (Deborah) Marshall of Belpre, Ohio, Karen C. (Roy) Cochran of New London, Ohio, William R. Marshall of Norwalk, Ohio, and Rebecca R. (James) Pryor of New London, Ohio, by her aunt, Eunice L. Adams of Cleveland, Ohio. Arleda was preceded in death by Larry D. Peeples Sr. in 2010, and by Lewis C. Carter in 2004.
