Arlene Marie Myers, 78, of Wellington, died Thursday, November 18, 2010 at her home surrounded by family. Born on March 13, 1932, Arlene was a daughter of the late Raymond and Elsie (nee Douglas) Machovina. For 14 years Arlene worked in the produce section of Sparkle and then the Village Market Grocery Stores. She also raised standard breed horses alongside her husband. Arlene was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wellington. Arlene cherished her family and holidays with them were extremely important to her. During the last several years, she enjoyed spending her winters in Florida with her husband. Arlene also liked fishing and playing Bingo. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Stan; 5 children, Dianne Allison of Arizona, Gary (Diane) Myers of Ridgeville, Patricia Emory of Wellington, Ronald (Susan) Myers of Grafton and Kathleen (Mark)Gardener of Grafton. Survivors also include 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a sister, Carol Urig of Lorain. Arlene was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Raymond Machovina. Friends and family will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday November 22, 2010 and also on Tuesday November 23 from 10 until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 512 N.
