Arthur Justice, 82, of Mansfield, died peacefully Monday, August 15, 2011 in his home under the loving care of grandchildren, Shannon and Rhonda May. He was born June 17, 1929, in Eastern, Kentucky, son of the late George M. and Rhoada (nee Keene) Justice. He lived most of his life in the Plymouth and Greenwich areas, until moving to Mansfield in 1996. Arthur retired from Fate-Root-Heath Co. in Plymouth where he began his career in 1952. He was a long time member of the Church of God. He is survived by his daughters, Cherry Warthman of Newark, Debra (Rodney) May of Greenwich, Libby (Bret) Seitz of West Chester; grandchildren, Jamie (Jon) Scott, Shannon (Rhonda) May, Matthew (Becky) Warthman, Jennifer May, Theresa (Jesse) Burk, Christopher Seitz and Alicia Seitz; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Cory, Jamie, Tristin, Autumn, Sierra, Mia, Rylie, Carson, Bridgette and Sophia; brothers, Holly (Roberta) Justice of Nevada and Eugene (Shirley) Justice of Galion; sister, Freda Mae Stephens of Shiloh and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Minta 'Sue' (nee Horne); an infant son, Timothy; brothers, Clyde, Clarence and Azzie Justice and sister, Joyce Howard. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main Street, Greenwich on Friday, August 19, 2011 with Pastor Don Merritt officiating. Inurnment will be private at Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven. The family wishes to thank Stein Hospice for their care and support.
