Arthur Michael Kavulla, 75, of Wakeman, died August 30, 2013 at EMH after a lengthy illness. He was born in Elyria on April 20, 1938 to the late Michael and Emily (nee Karpinski) Kavulla and raised by his grandmother Helen Karpinski Arthur grew up in LaGrange and was a graduate of LaGrange High School. Following graduation he went on to serve as an MP in the United States Army in Korea.
Arthur was a journeyman Sheet metal worker and worked for C&H Fabricating and retired from General Motors. He loved to ride his motorcycle and was a member of the Lake Erie Harley Club. Arthur was also a member of the AMVETs and the Eagles. He enjoyed landscaping and caring for his property, as well as going out and spending time with his friends. Arthur also loved animals whether it was his pets or a wild animal living in the woods.
Arthur is survived by his loving wife of nearly 48 years, Deanna; daughter Suzanne (Martin) Tansey of Lorain; grandchildren, Sarah, James, Laura, and Hannah, and his brother-in-law Max Cooper.
