Asenath "Ann" Maynard, 67, of New London, Ohio went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 5, 2015 after a brief illness. Born in Huntington, West Virginia in 1947 and moved to Ohio in 1967 where she lived most of her life. She worked for Van Dresser Co., Roth Manufacturing and Thomas Creative Apparel. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Tami Nightengale of New London, Ohio; 3 grandsons, Shane Nightengale of Knoxville, Tennessee, Anthony (Tabitha) Nightengale of Mansfield, Ohio and Joseph (Samantha Tyrus) Nightengale of Lima, Ohio; 5 great grandchildren, Alayna, Campbell, Hayden, Anthony II and Zoey; sister, Mary Ellen (Kendall) Hooser of Huntington, West Virginia; several nieces and nephews and her best friend, Loleta King of New London, Ohio. Asenath was preceded in death by her parents, Amos Maynard and Ida Drummond; brother, Lloyd Maynard; sisters, Ruth Vernatter and Thelma Farmer. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm with a brief service around 7:30 pm on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London. Burial will be held at 1 pm Friday, July 10th at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, US Route 60, Midland Trail, Barboursville, West Virginia. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the family in care of Eastman Funeral Home.
