Audrey C. Watts, 89, of Norwalk, died Friday, May 4, 2012 at Gaymont Nursing Home in Norwalk. She was born May 6, 1922, in Greenwich Township, to the late Edward and Maude (Sweet) Pettit. Audrey lived most of her life in Greenwich and several years in Florida with her daughter. Audrey owned and operated Watts Hardware with her husband, Thor for many years. She attended Greenwich United Methodist Church. Audrey was one of the proud founders of the Club 13 Pinochle Club. Survivors include her son, Daniel (Karen) Watts of Bloomington, IN; daughter, Barbara (Richard) Sullivan of Hollywood, FL; grandchildren, Edward Watts, Amber Watts, Kelly Montag and Richard Sullivan; her sister, Ruth Buchanan of Greenwich. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thor Watts and siblings, Donald, Robert, Corrine, Ralph, Charles, Shirley and Kenneth. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2012 at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main Street, Greenwich where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Georgette Gaston officiating. Burial will follow at Edwards Grove Cemetery, Greenwich.
