IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Barbara G.
(Boose) (Missler) Nutter
September 24, 1936 – February 13, 2024
Barbara G. (Boose) (Missler) Nutter, 87, went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on February 13, 2024. She was born on September 24, 1936, in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Richard J. and Alberta G. (White) Boose. Barbara was a long-time resident of Norwalk and graduated from St. Paul High School in 1954. She also attended Bowling Green State University and graduated in 1963. Barbara was a member of Norwalk Baptist Church, Berlin Heights Baptist Church, and most recently Truth Baptist Church in Tiffin, OH. She served as a missionary for over 25 years with Amazing Grace Mission. She enjoyed doing missionary work and loved to give encouragement to missionary wives with Avon gifts. Barbara was a former school teacher in both Bellevue and Milan before she started working at the Norwalk Public Library as a Library Assistant till her retirement in 1996. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she cherished. Those who knew Barbara will remember her for her servant's heart and for being a Godly woman who wanted others to know about the free gift of salvation through Jesus. The Bible says in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Barbara was a "whosoever" and wanted everyone she knew and ever met to be a "whosoever" too.
Barbara is survived by her children, Anthony R. (Sherry) Missler, of Norwalk, Ohio, Regina A. (Richard) Eakes, of Sandusky, Ohio, and Jeanne B. (James) Martin, of Bloomville, Ohio. She is also survived by stepson, Donald K. "Kerry" Nutter Jr., of Shelby, Ohio, her stepdaughter, Kimberly Opperman, her brother, Richard B. (Charmaine) Boose, of Norwalk, Ohio, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, and step-grandchildren & step-great-grandchildren.
