Obituary

Barbara A. Collingwood of Milan passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 at the Norwalk Memorial Home after a lengthy illness.

She was born November 18, 1938 in Rochester, New York to William and Elizabeth Bryant and moved to Findlay with her family in 1955. She graduated from Findlay High School in 1957, and from International Business College in 1959. She worked at Marathon Oil Company in Findlay for several years. She married Richard Collingwood in 1961. They moved to Milan in 1973.

Barbara served as church secretary of the Milan Presbyterian Church for many years and enjoyed being Gift Shop Manager at Fisher-Titus Medical Center for 25 years accumulating more than 25 thousand hours as a volunteer.

On June 24, she celebrated her 63rd wedding anniversary with Richard, who survives. She is also survived by her children, Anne (Denis) Bleile of Sandusky, Heather Plue (Perry Bellamy) of Milan and Jennifer (Victor) DiAngelo of Parma and she is survived by grandchildren, Morgan (Kyle) Hammond, Allison and Noah Plue, Kaitlyn and Andrew DiAngelo, great grandchildren, Colton and Jack Hammond and brothers, William and Daniel Bryant of Findlay. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Alan, a brother, Richard Bryant, and a grandchild, Mallory Bleile.

Per Barbara's request, there will be no visitation. Memorial services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home of Norwalk.
