Barbara Lou Hill, 84, of LaGrange, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Keystone Pointe. Barb was one of 15 children of the late Fred A. and Grace Ann (nee Trader) Moyer and was born on October 3, 1939 in Galloway, WV.

Barb was a retired waitress. She loved being a homemaker and took great pride in keeping her house. Caring for her family brought Barb great joy.  She was a Baptist by faith and was a member of the Chapter V Goldwing Club in Ashland in the late 1980s along with her husband, Don.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, William "Don" Hill; children, Jay C. (Leisann) Buckey, Jill R. Buckey, and Don L. (Connie) Hill; stepchildren, LaDonna K. Hill, Marion M. Wilkins, and William H. Hill; 18 grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren and her siblings, Leona Pirro, Ralph (Cindy) Moyer, Donetta Brannon and Carol Boylen.  Barbara was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Buckey and siblings, Sonny Moyer, Phyllis Hite, Bud Moyer, William Moyer, Herbert Moyer, Audrey Moyer, Geraldine Shaffer, Henrietta McClean, and infant siblings, Bobby and Leventis Moyer.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, June 13 from 5:30-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. On Friday visitation will also be held from noon until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at River Road Cemetery, LaGrange.
