Barbara May Neeley, 70, of Norwalk, died Sunday, April 5, 2015 at MedCentral Health System in Mansfield after a lengthy illness. She was born May 27, 1944, in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Jesse and Esther Helen (Graver) Bennett. She graduated with the last class to graduate from former Greenwich High School in 1962. Barbara worked at Willard Mercy Hospital, the former Fanny Farmer and Head Start in Willard and Norwalk for many years. Survived by her husband of 50 years, Carl Neeley; sons, Carl Lee and Edward A. (Leslie); grandchildren, Kaila, Brooke, Wesley and Elijah; great grandson, Malaki; siblings, Jesse Bennett, Nancy Schneider and Robert (Althea) Bennett; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her half brother, Harrison Bennett. Visitation from 7-9 pm Thursday, April 9th at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main Street, Greenwich where a service will be held 11 am Friday with Rev. Doc Burrows officiating.
