Barbara J. Urich, 89, of New London, died on Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Norwalk Memorial Home.  She was born on November 10, 1934 in Hartland Township, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harold H. and Charlotte (VanHoorbeck) Wilson.  Barbara was a lifelong resident of the New London area having attended New London Schools.  She was a homemaker and cherished time spent with her family.  She enjoyed gardening and doing yard work.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Marlene (Ted) Janeda, Mark (Deb) Urich, Bruce Urich and Wilbert (Lisa) Urich Jr.; 5 grandchildren and siblings; Robert Wilson, Fred Wilson, Tom Wilson, Kenny Wilson, Ela Krisha, Charlene Yates, Jeanine St. Clair.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband Wilbert Urich Sr.; sons, Richard and Kevin Urich; and siblings, Roslie Stefano, Kathy Wilson and Billie Wilson.

Barbara's wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held.  Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St. New London assisted the Urich family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
