Beata Marie Foster, 90, of Wellington, died Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Elms Retirement Village in Wellington. Born on February 17, 1921 in Norwalk to the late Pearl and Mildred (nee Fromer) Ewell, Beata graduated from Norwalk High School.
She retired from Forest City in Wellington in 1975 and enjoyed attending their retirement gatherings. Beata also liked knitting, crocheting, and feeding and watching birds and squirrels.
Beata is survived by her son, Richard Foster, of Youngstown; daughter-in-law, Mary Foster, of Wellington; grandchildren, Timothy (Shelly) Foster, of Wakeman and Todd (Kim) Foster, of Amherst and 3 great grandchildren, Sara, McKenna, and Rachel. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Noble. Beata was preceded in death by her son, James and her husband, Paul.
In accordance to her wishes, Beata will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday February 17, at the Wellington First United Methodist Church, 127 Park Place, Wellington with Rev. Lea Mahan officiating.
