Beatrice Sandra Bowman, 87, of Wellington, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 under the care of Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain. Born in Wellington on December 17, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Caroline (nee Augustino) and Benedetto Farago. A lifelong resident, she was a 1951 Wellington High School graduate.

Bea retired from Wellington Implement after 42 years as the book keeper. An active member of Saint Patrick Catholic Church, she served on the executive Committee and taught catechism. Bea was a longtime member of Women's League, the Northern Ohio Draft Pony Association and served as a den leader for Cub Scouts. She enjoyed playing bingo, knitting and crocheting, and was an avid reader. The role she was most proud of was being a grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Scott (Lori) Bowman, Jay Bowman and Mike (Bev) Bowman, all of Wellington; grandchildren, Jaqueline (David) Woods, Brianna (Thomas) Dulemba, Christopher, Katy, John, Jenna and Elizabeth Bowman; great grandchildren, Aurora Woods, Kase Dulemba and expectant great grandchild; siblings, Theresa Senghas, Angie Brinker, Tony Farago, Rose Barrett, Joe Farago, Josie Boone, Helen Dronsfield and James Farago and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Bowman; brothers, Bill and Carl Farago; sister, Mary Baker and step sister, Caroline Mancuso; nephew, Bobby Bowman and niece, Jane Coen.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 4-8 pm at the Old St. Patrick Church, 512 North Main Street, Wellington, OH 44090. Services will be held on Saturday August 28 at 10:00 am at the New St. Patrick Church. Father Trask will officiate and burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
