Helen Belinda Anney, 72, of LaGrange, died Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Fairview Hospital following a long illness. Born on August 9, 1950, in Lackey, KY, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Ellen (nee Turpin) Hoover. Belinda spent most of her life in LaGrange and was a member of the Keystone class of 1968.

Belinda worked at Dillards for short time before venturing out on her own, owning several business in the LaGrange area. She was an active and supportive wife, mother and grandmother, serving on the local PTA, band boosters, and as a Sunday School teacher. Faith was an important part of her life and she attended the First Baptist Church in Elyria. Belinda was active with the Red Hat Society and was the Queen Bee. She loved to travel, visiting most of the United States in her motor home, and all over Europe. Belinda also enjoyed listing to music and dancing, especially to Elvis. Family was paramount to Belinda, and she used the term broadly including close friends, cousins, aunts and uncles. She will be remembered for her welcoming and loving spirit, and her strong personality.

Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, Joe; children, Pamela (Charles) Kunkler, and Joey (Sarah) Anney; grandchildren, Sabrina (James Skinner), and Madilyn; great grandchildren, Charlie, Joey, and Gabriella; and brother, Bob Hoover. Belinda was preceded in death by her brother Clyde Vernon Hoover and a great granddaughter Coralyn.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, August 25, from 5-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St, where services will be held on Friday, beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at River Road Cemetery, LaGrange.
