Belinda J. Giese, 73, of Huntington, died Thursday, May 1, 2014, at the Hospice of Medina County. She was born in LaGrange and raised by her mother Agnes E. Cunningham and had been a resident of Huntington Township for nearly 40 years. Belinda attended and graduated from the Ohio State School for the Blind. She was a member of the Pilot Guide Dog Association. Belinda enjoyed knitting, following the Cleveland Indians, and reading. Belinda is survived by her sisters Mary Ann (Ron) Barzso of Winfield IL, Jeanne (Michael) Hoffer of Wheaton IL, and Nancy Jurchenko of Middleburg Heights, as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Giese, in May of last year. Friends and family will be received on Monday, May 5 from 10 a.m. until the time of a memorial service beginning at 11 a.m. at the United Church of Huntington, 26677 State Rt 58, Wellington, 44090, Rev. Stephen Carmany officiating. Burial will take place at the Huntington Cemetery.
