Ben F. Dennis, Jr., 59, of Sullivan, died Monday, October 10, 2011 at his home. Born in Lodi, on January 16, 1952 he lived all of his life in Sullivan. He graduated in 1970 from Black River High School and completed 2 years of computer training. Ben worked 37 years at Cleveland City Forge in Wellington as a CNC setup programmer. Ben enjoyed hunting and playing cards. He was a member of the NRA and the Sons of American Legion Post 8 in Wellington. Ben is survived by his wife of 11 years, Lorrie (nee Coen) Dennis; son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Jennifer Dennis of Wellington; stepchildren, Eugene Coen of Clarksfield and Erica Stumph of Wellington; 6 grandchildren and siblings, Judith 'Judy' Dennis and Clair 'Butch' Dennis both of Sullivan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben F. and Fern Viola (nee Schultz) Dennis, Sr. Visitation will be Thursday, October 13th from 6-8 p.m. and Friday 10a.m. until the 11am funeral service at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S.
