Bernice Helen Bottomlee Bradstock, 89, of Wellington, died Sunday, March 8, 2015. Born in Elyria on October 8, 1925 to the late John and Antonia (nee Mateushak) Puka, Bernice was a life a lifelong wellington resident.
Bernice worked for Forest City, Rodel Shoe Store, and Grist Drug Store. She was a member of St Patrick's Catholic Church in Wellington and recently Faith Christian Fellowship in Spencer. Bernice enjoyed working on Jigsaw puzzles and was a talented seamstress and cook.
Bernice is survived by her children, Sharon Clark of Wellington, Gary (Sue) Bottomlee of Huntington, and Nancy (Max) Bodak of Litchfield; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Luther Bottomlee, whom she was married to for 56 years, and husband of 8 years, Frank Bradstock; brothers, Joe, Steve, Tony, and Walter Puka, and sisters Mary Sanders and Hattie Lamb.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 beginning at 1 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington, with Pastor Thomas Keller officiating.
