Bertha Mae Lance, 78, of Sullivan, passed away December 22, 2020 at Ohio Health Hospital in Mansfield.   She was born June 19, 1942 in Dry Creek, West Virginia, daughter of the late Fountain and Flora (Farley) Pettry.   Bertha enjoyed going to church, reading and spending time with her family and her beloved dog Mo.

Bertha is survived by her husband, Harvey V. Lance, Sr.;  her children, Carolyn (Edward) Sullivan of Rawlings, TN., Harvey V. (Cindy) Lance, Jr. of Sullivan, Pamela (Ronnie) Brown of West Salem, Lisa (David H.) Lance of Brookpark and Robert W. (Mary) Lance of LaGrange, Ohio;   11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson;  her siblings, David Pettry of Columbus and Genevieve Kalinonski of Dry Creek, West Virginia.   Bertha was preceded in death by her parents, 10 brothers and sisters and her granddaughter, Samantha Lance.

Family and Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2020 at the Shiloh Pentecostal Church of God, 117 Baseline Rd., Greenwich, Ohio  44837.   Pastor Mark Wireman will officiate the service.   Burial will follow at the Nova Cemetery.    Memorials may be given to the church.   Due to the Covid-19 pandemic it is requested that everyone wear a mask and practice social distancing.    Eastman Funeral Home, Greenwich assisted the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at:  www.eastmanfuneralhome.com
