Bessie L. Sigsbey, 94, of LaGrange died Monday, February 20, 2012 at Keystone Pointe. She was born on July 13, 1917 in Pittsfield to the late Vern and Martha (nee Waite) Norton. Bessie was a Wellington High School Graduate. Bessie was a member of the Womens Relief Corps, the Wellington Pittsfield Needle Work Club, and the Elyria AMVets Auxiliary. Bessie is survived by her son George Moran of Elyria; grandchildren Tom (Denise) Moran of LaGrange, Tim (Michelle) Moran of Elyria, and Tara (James)Sivec of Oberlin; 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Sigsbey, brothers Perry and Herman Norton, and sister Mable Norton. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, February 23 from 5-7 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main, Wellington with services on Friday beginning at 11 a.m. burial will follow at the River Road Cemetery in Lagrange.
