Bettie L. Sheller, 86, of Greenwich, died Thursday, September 29, 2011 at her home. She was born in Ashland, on February 8, 1925, daughter of the late Walter Guy and Florence (Hosler) Wolfe. Bettie lived in Ashland and Richland Counties before moving to Greenwich in 1978. She was a homemaker, drove school bus for 17 years for Plymouth Schools and then drove truck for Fishbaugh Construction. Bettie was proud of being one of the original members of the Bethel Baptist Church.
Loving mother of, Gerald E. "Jerry" (Joann) Sheller of Norwalk, Diedra Benschoter of Greenwich and Vickie (Kevin) Urich of Fitchville; 15 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald R. Sheller; daughter, Kenda Teglovic; sons, Jodiah Alan and Steven Sheller; great grandson, Dustin Kissel; infant brother, Charles Eugene Wolfe and infant sister, Winifred Wolfe.
Visitation from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 3 at the Bethel Baptist Church, 575 US Route 250 N., Savannah with Rev. John Bouquet officiating. Burial will follow at Edwards Grove Cemetery, Greenwich. Luncheon following at the New London Eagles, 29 West Fir Street, New London, Ohio.
