Betty Carol Allen, 77, of Conway, South Carolina, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 21, 2021. She was born on September 14, 1943 to the late Arita (Richardson) and James Payne.

Betty moved to Norwalk when she was 12 years old and lived there until 1988 when she moved to South Carolina. She worked as a Clerk at the County Records of Deed until her retirement. She was a member of the Trinity Temple and the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, where she volunteered and served her fellow church members and community. Betty enjoyed cooking, gardening, working outside, and reading the bible.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Allen; children, Kimberly (Daniel) Lieber, Scott (Jackie) Stevens, and Christopher (Kimberly) Stevens; step-children, Bradley (Melanie) Allen, Kem (Tommy) Jessup, and Tina (Terry) Joyce; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; siblings, Rottie (Vicki) Payne, Lonnie (Terry) Payne, Ella (Dallas) Bennett, Sheila (Alan) Pentecost and Diane (Mike) Shinski; and sisters-in-law, Kathy Payne and Angie Payne.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest L. Stevens; and siblings, Jerry Payne and Leon Payne.

Her visitation will be held at the Trinity Temple, on 4708 State Route 113, Milan, Ohio 44846 on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park Cemetery, Huron. Visitors are required to bring and wear a mask for the visitation and service and should follow all social distancing and mass gathering guidelines.
