Betty J. (Cutting) White, of New London, passed away late Friday evening April 25, 2014, at Fisher Titus Medical Center. She was born in Sugar Creek Ohio, daughter of the late Ross and Mabel (nee Holmes) Cutting. Betty is survived by her children Barbara (Jerry) Conner of Woodstock, Georgia, Robert (Pamela) Fry of Norwalk, stepsons Wilmer and Winston (Vickie) White of New London, brother Lawrence (Susan) Cutting of New London, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Wilmer, brothers Harold and Ray Cutting, stepson Gaylord, stepdaughter, Rochelle G. Edgington and longtime friend, Bill Davis. Betty was a volunteer for many organizations. She taught citizenship classes for those wanting to gain United States citizenship. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and sewing. Friends may call on Friday, May 2nd, from 1 p.m., until the time of the service at 2 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St., New London. Pastor Russ Gaskill will be officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Street Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Betty's memory may be directed to the Clarksfield Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1880 Fitchville River Rd, Wakeman, OH, 44889-9325.
