Betty Jean Jackson, 81, of Norwalk, passed away Friday, January 9, 2009 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center. Betty was born July 8, 1927 to Harvey and Ruth B. (Cunningham) Jones in Morgantown, West Virginia. She moved to Huron County in 1954. Betty worked for Westinghouse in Fairmont, WV, Kent Sporting Goods in New London then Norstat in Norwalk. Former member of the New London V.F.W Auxiliary. Betty was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, William Jackson of Georgia, Frances Lucal of Huron, Shirley Howell of New York; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; siblings, Harvey Jones Edward Jones, Doris Toothman, Helen Scott, Kathryn Jackson and Janet Evans. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, William Andrew Jackson, son, Robert Wilson, parents and sister, Margaret Jones. There will be no services. Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London will be in charge.
