Beverly S. Hammer, 74, of Wellington, died Saturday, May 27, 2017 at home. Born on October 25, 1942, in Elyria she was the daughter of the late Victor and Helen (nee Stolec) Christensen. Beverly was a 1960 graduate of Elyria High School. She moved to Wellington in 1973 where she raised her family. Beverly was a beautician and owned Before and After salon in Wellington. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. Beverly will be remembered as loving and caring, and was always willing to help her family in any way she could. She especially cherished her grandchildren and took great joy in supporting them in all their endeavors. Survivors include her children Ronald (Je-Ann) Hammer, of Sullivan, and Laura (Kevin) Gallatin, of Wellington; grandchildren Kayla and Julia Gallatin, Dauson Hammer, and Lindsey Stevens; and great grandchild Lyric; brothers, Ken Christensen, of OR, and Glen Christensen, of Athens. A memorial service to celebrate Beverly's life will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 11:00 am at Bethany Lutheran Church, 231 East Hamilton Street, Wellington. Rev.
