Beverly Sargent, 90, of formerly of Greenwich and New London, died Friday April 13, 2018. Born October 16, 1927 in Cortlandville, NY she was the daughter of the late Adrian and Grace (nee Baxter) Wisse. Beverly lived in several places in the western United States, settling in Huron County in 1995. Beverly enjoyed cooking and needlework as well as playing cards with her friends especially BINGO. In 2013 She was crowned the Huron County Fair Queen. Survivors include her children Tom Cooper, of TX, John (Becky) Cooper, of UT, and Patricia (John) Bowen, Greenwich; 9 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Sargent and her sons Andrew and Robert Cooper Jr. Burial will take place in Phoenix AZ at a later date, Eastman Funeral Home is assisting the family will arrangements.
