Billy D. Noble, age 84, of Fostoria, died Saturday, October 01, 2011 at Independence House in Fostoria, after a short illness. He was born July 31, 1927 in Shiloh, son of the late, William H. & Anita (Kranz) Noble. Billy was a 1945 graduate of Shiloh High School and served in the US Army from 1944-1946, during the occupation. He moved to Fostoria in the mid 50's. Billy was a former employee of Standard Oil of Ohio and retired from Excello Corp. of Fostoria. He was a life time member of the VFW and an extensive World traveler. Survived by son, William B. (Diane) Noble of Fostoria; grandchildren, Jessica, Kenneth and Chad Noble; brother, Kermit (Mary Catherine) Noble of Shiloh; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Howard and Kenneth Noble. Graveside services will be held 11am Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh with Pastor Diana Seaman officiating.
