Boyd Franklin Enzor, Sr., age 89, of Plymouth, died Friday, November 19, 2010 at Ohio
State University Medical Center, Columbus after a short illness. He was born February
9, 1921 in Greenwich Twp., son of the late Roscoe and Florence (Sparks) Enzor. Boyd
lived most of his life in Greenwich. He was a 1939 graduate of Greenwich High
School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the 96th Infantry Division ,
having served overseas in Leyte and Okinawa. Boyd had owned and operated the
Greenwich Vault Co. from 1965 until 1979. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist
Church in Savannah and recently had attended the LifePoint Community Church in
Plymouth. He loved to fish.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Eleanor (Silliman) Enzor; his children, Boyd Jr.
and Kathy Enzor of Plymouth, Douglas Enzor of Wellington and Annette and Dane
Keiser of Greenwich; 3 granddaughters, Amber Enzor of Cincinnati, Courtney and
Cassidy Keiser both of Dayton; his brother, Dean Enzor of Lexington, Ohio. He was
preceded in death by his brothers, Dale and Richard Enzor.
Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the Bethel Baptist Church, 575 U.S. Rte. 250 North, P.O. Box 128, Savannah, Ohio 44874 with Pastor John Bouquet and Pastor Rich Hurles officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to either the Bethel Baptist Church or to the LifePoint Community Church, 260 Riggs St., P.O. Box 133, Plymouth, Ohio 44865.
