Bradley Allen Hale, 56, of New London, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Friday evening, April 1, 2022, at his home after a brave battle against cancer.
Brad was born on September 11, 1965, in Oberlin, OH to Faye (Greene) and Paul Hale.
Brad graduated from Firelands High School and was a dedicated union laborer, retiring after 32 years. He was a skilled mechanic and loved anything with a motor. Brad shared a special bond with animals of all types. In his spare time, Brad enjoyed gardening, cutting wood, watching western movies, and camping with his family.
Brad is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, DeEtta (Myers) Hale, whom he married on November 17, 1990; 3 children, Benjamin (Sarah) Harrison of New London, Jonathan (Amanda) Harrison of New London, and Maelissa (Trevor) Hale-Robinson of Salt Lake City, Utah; 8 grandchildren, Wyatt, Madielyn, Oliver, Landon, Braylon, Tucker, Dexter, and Cooper; parents, Paul and Faye (Greene) Hale; and sister, Theresa (Mike Born) Reeves.
Brad was preceded in death by his brothers, Randy Hale, and Jeff Hale.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 11 am until the time of funeral services at 1 pm at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London, OH 44851. Pastor Tommy Theisen will be presiding. Burial will follow in Grove Street Cemetery.
