Brenda K. Vanderpool (61) of Greenwich died Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Ohio Health, Mansfield Hospital.  She was born December 8, 1959 in Shelby to the Charles and Gertrude (Griffith) Handshoe.  She attended Freewill Baptist Church in Willard and loved going to church.  Brenda loved to garden and can food, but her true love was spending time with her family especially her children and grandchildren.

Brenda is survived by her mother: Gertrude Handshoe of Greenwich; husband: Timothy Vanderpool Sr. who she married July 29, 1977 for 42 wonderful years.  2 children:  Amber D. (Steven) Back of Greenwich and Timothy (Maci) Vanderpool Jr. of Lancaster. 5 grandchildren: Silas W. Cole, Casey J. Back, Tanner J. Back, Josiah C. Vanderpool, and London E. Vanderpool. Brother: Larry (Maxine) Handshoe of IN and sister Linda (Dave) Roar of KY. She was preceded in death by her father: Charles Handshoe.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021 at the Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery, Townsend Street, Greenwich.  In accordance with COVID guidelines, masks and social distancing measures will be expected at the graveside.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
