In Loving Memory of Bruce C. Bradstock

August 23, 1941 – April 28, 2025

Bruce Charles Bradstock, 83, of Wellington, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on April 28, 2025 after a long illness.

Born on August 23, 1941, in Lodi, Ohio, Bruce was the son of the late Merle and Nada(Moore) Bradstock. A lifelong resident of Wellington, he attended Wellington High School and worked at Shiloh Industries until his retirement in 2006.

Bruce proudly served his country in the United States Army and took great pride in being a veteran.

On August 7, 1971 Bruce married Anne Krosse. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family. They raised four children:  Kristy (JD) Sherwood of Westerville, Ohio, Michael (Tonya Floyd) Bradstock of Woodville, Ohio, Amy (Matthew Sr.) Harwedel of Clayton, Ohio, and Matthew (Brooke Walker) Bradstock of Grand Junction, Colorado.

Bruce was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Jordan (Emily), Trenton, and Blaine Sherwood; Hadyn and Reagan Bradstock; Matthew Jr. and Ella Harwedel and his Colorado grand pups Diva and Daisy. He was a constant presence at their sporting events, concerts, plays, and recitals.

An avid gardener, Bruce found joy in tending to his yard and flowers. He loved cheering on the Cleveland sports teams as well as the Buckeyes. Bruce loved the beach and traveling to his favorite places, Sullivan's Island, SC and Westport, CT.

In addition to his family, he is survived by his sister Lani "Sue" (Richard) Kemp of Wellington, Ohio. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to his wonderful caregivers — Martha, Becky, Danielle, and Charlene — for their compassion and dedication, as well as to the Veterans Administration and the staff members of Mercy Health New Life Hospice for their support.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Roger Bradstock; sister, Linda Knapp; and niece, Beth Michelle Bradstock.

Visitation will be held on May 8 from 10-11:30 am with a service immediately following at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington, Ohio. A private burial for the family will be held at a later date.
