Buddy LeRoy Scott, 76, of Wellington, passed away from an extended illness on November 11, 2022. Born on February 15, 1946, in Exchange, W.V., the youngest son of the late Robert and Nelia (nee Perine) Scott.

Buddy was a Vietnam Air Force veteran who retired after 29 years of service at FAA in Oberlin, Ohio. Following retirement, he was a top salesman in real estate. He enjoyed time with his friends and family, hunting, golfing, playing poker, card games, and his infamous Holey Board.

Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Gloria (nee Santa Cruz) Scott; children, Charles (Laura) Scott, of Wellington and Beverley Suckow, of Huntington; grandchildren, Dylan, Kevin, Darrin and Erik; and sister, Wanda Moore, of Chippawa Lake. Buddy was preceded in death by his grandson, Steven Scott; son in law, Raymond Suckow, and siblings, Wilma Starmer, Carl Scott, and Jack Scott.

A celebration of life will be held on November 19, 2022 at the Penfield Community Center located at 41012 State Route, Wellington, OH 44090 (intersection of Rt. 18 and 301) from 1-5 pm.
