Carl Richard Ours II, of Jeromesville, died Friday, June 14, 2024, at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital.  He was born May 22, 1968, in Oberlin to Ellen (Pine) and Carl R. Ours Sr.  Carl was an entertainer and tech man at the Old Ohio Reformatory. He enjoyed playing classic rock music, was a motorcycle enthusiast but his blood hounds were his world.

Carl is survived by his mother, Ellen Ours Cleavenger; siblings, Margaret Wiley, Melanie Roberts, Theresa (Robert) Patchin, Jeffrey Ours and Larry Ours; step siblings, Frank (Noi) Cleavenger, William Cleavenger and Pam Pearl, along with several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Carl R. Ours Sr; siblings, Cecelia Cleavenger, Karen Heitsche, Ellen Bowling, and Carla Sue Ours; brothers in law, Martin Wiley and Charles Roberts; stepfather, William V. Cleavenger; and stepsister, Cathy Rydosz.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Grove Street Cemetery, New London.  The staff of the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W.
