Carl M. Veith Sr., 91, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2026. He was born on March 19, 1934, in Defiance, Ohio, to the late Carl A. and Laverne C. (Osborn) Veith. He was a graduate of Toledo Libbey High School.
Upon graduation, Carl went to work right away for AT & T, where he was an installer for 42 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, the Norwalk First United Methodist Church, and Norwalk Eagles Club 711.
An avid outdoorsman, Carl especially enjoyed hunting and fishing and traveling and cruising with his wife Kathy. He was a wonderful provider and family man.
He will be fondly remembered and missed by his loving wife of 43 years, Kathy (Gorman) Veith; children, Tina (John) Harman, Tonya Bricker, Michael (Sherri) Veith, Eric (Cheryl) Everman, and Michael (Victoria) Everman; daughter in-law, Donna Veith; son in-law, Walt Speelman; sister, Suzie Martin; his grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
In addition to his parents, Carl and Laverne Veith, he was preceded in death by his son, Carl Jr., daughter, Kelley Speelman, son in-law, Jim Bricker, and brother, John Veith.
Visitation for Carl will be held at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. (noon). A funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. (noon) at the funeral home with Pastor Edward Kovacik officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
