Carol S. DeVaughn, 84, of Attica, died Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Mercy Willard Hospital. She was born on June 22, 1938, in Belle Center. She worked as an office clerk for many years.  On August 25, 1956, she married Ellsworth H. DeVaughn.

She is survived by her children, Tim (Valerie) DeVaughn, of Perrysburg, Patti Cassidy, of Attica, and Jane (Harold) Holmer, of Attica; grandchildren, Rick (Melissa) Cassidy, Jeannie (Brian) Doan, Jennifer (Aaron) Gamble, Stephanie DeVaughn, Brandon (Kristi Stiles) Louk, Scott DeVaughn, Daniel (Michala Shade) Holmer, and Noah Sager; 18 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, John and Don. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Denton and Catherine Mable (Gwinner-Ballinger) Armstrong; husband, Ellsworth in 2016; daughter, Linda Sager; son-in-laws, Rick Cassidy and Charles Sager and brothers, James and Paul.
