Carol Marie Fidler, 85, of New London, died Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Stein Hospice Center in Sandusky. She was born on November 26, 1932 in Elyria to the late Clyde and Agnes Fox. She graduated from Elyria High School and has been a resident of New London since the 1970s. Carol worked at Forest City in Wellington for many years. She loved reading, watching westerns and football and crocheting. Survivors include her children, Andrea Nelson, of Elyria, Mike Fidler, of New London, Bridgette Chicotel, of New London and Jason Fidler, of Flint, Michigan; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Carol is also survived by her siblings, Pat Murray, Russell Fox and Marge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Fidler; son, Gregory Fidler and son-in-law, Lawrence Chicotel. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 19 from 4-7 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S.
