Carol Ann Ross, 76, of Norwalk, OH, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at her home.

Carol was born on August 17, 1945 in Willard, OH to the late Bernard and Florence (Swartz) Minniear.

Carol was a cheerleader and 1963 graduate of South Central High School. Later, she worked at Tucker Escrow & Title as an escrow officer for 15 years. She was a social butterfly who enjoyed hosting family gatherings and spending time with friends. In her spare time, Carol enjoyed gardening, taking trips to casinos and attending every event she could of her grandchildren. Carol was also an animal lover and thoroughly enjoyed her dogs. Her greatest joy in life was her family.

Carol is survived by her 3 children, Paula Smith of Norwalk, Shelley Stockmaster of Norwalk and Eric (Christie Good) Braker of Colorado; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Margaret Jordan of Mansfield and Mary (Bill) Houser of Plymouth.

In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her loving husband, John R. Ross, whom passed away earlier in 2021 and 4 siblings, John, Jerry, Phyllis and Joan.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. A funeral service will follow the visitation in the funeral home at 7 pm. Cremation and private family burial will take place at a later date.
