Carol Lynn Smith, 63, of Wellington, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022, at home. She was born December 2, 1958, in Fairmont, W.V., the first child of Tom Knisely and Helen (nee Nestor) Stottlemire.

Carol recently assisted her husband in managing Deer Run Apartments but spent most of her career managing Sunshine Farms in Elyria, Ohio. She enjoyed cooking and gardening, but time spent with her family was what she cherished most in life.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Randy Smith; children, Thomas (Michelle) Knisley, of Bellevue, Dan (Amy) Smith, of Elyria, Randy (Holly) Smith Il of Euclid, Justin (Renee) Smith, of Clyde, and Nathan Smith, of Wellington; grandchildren, Ryen Knisley, Tayler Smith, Dustin Knisley, Raydan Smith, Mackenzie Smith, and Alaina McNeill.
