Carol Ann Stasick (nee Bieske), 69, of Sullivan, OH passed away December 17, 2010 at her home following a brief illness. Carol was born September 8, 1941 in Elyria, OH, where she spent most of her life until moving to Sullivan 12 years ago. Carol was a graduate of Elyria High School and St. Joseph's School of Nursing. After her nursing career, Carol worked at Elyria High School as an MRLD Aide for 10 years. Carol also worked in the Elyria & Wellington H & R Block offices preparing taxes for 12 years until 2009. Carol was currently serving as secretary of the Zoning Commission Board for Sullivan Township and actively involved with the Sullivan Ladies Auxiliary and Relay for Life. Carol loved meeting new people and never did she meet a stranger. She has touched many lives. Carol was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by her survivors, husband, Robert J. Stasick; children, Colleen Finley Sullivan of San Angelo, TX, Sharon Finley of Greenwich, OH, Amanda (Michael) Lumpkins of Palestine, TX, Jennifer (John) Rahal of Wilton, NY and Robert C. (Tracey) Stasick of Sullivan, OH; grandchildren, Jacob Finley, Nicholas Finley, Kayla Jost, Collin Jost, Justin Jost all of TX, Jadin Rahal of NY, Micah Lumpkins, Connor Jost of TX, Ceyanna Stasick, Robert Gage Stasick of OH, Joshua Rahal of NY, Raven Finley of OH and Sean Fields of TX. Carol is also survived by her brother, Daniel (Paula) Bieske of Chelsea, MI and sister, Sara (Randy) Brlas and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Jean Bieske. Memorial service will be private. Family and friends will be received Wednesday, December 22nd from 5-7 p.m. at the Penfield Township Facility, 41012 ST Rte 18, Wellington, OH. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5555 Fantz Rd., Dublin, OH 43017.
