Catherine Betty Pence, 70, of Greenwich, died Friday, March 25, 2011 at her residence. On January 24, 1941, Catherine was born in Bainbridge, OH to the late Joseph and Dorothy (nee Bailey) Adams. She was known for being a Christian lady. Catherine is survived by her husband of 35 years, Delbert L. Pence; 2 sons, David W. (Cheryl) Donohew and Tony L. (Cappi) Donohew, both of Florida; 2 daughters, Rosemarie (Dominick) Brock and Amanda J. (Jason) Hicks, both of Greenwich; 3 grandsons; 5 granddaughters and 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Frances Williams, Juanita Kinzer, Shelby Pence and a brother, Tom Gardner. Catherine was preceded in death by 2 sons, Russell L. Donohew, Jr. and Jeffery A. Pence; twin brother, Bill Adams; brothers, Walt Adams and Joseph Adams, Jr. and a sister, Barb Cole. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 28 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W. Main St., Greenwich where Mrs. Pence's funeral will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Wireman officiating. Burial will follow at Nankin Cemetery.
