Cathy Lynn Mussell

Cathy Lynn Mussell, 75, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, at her home. She was born on December 27, 1950, in Norwalk, Ohio, to Kathrine (Bleile) Churchill and the late Melvin Churchill. Cathy was a 1969 Huron High School graduate.

She loved going to church, reading books, and playing games on her computer.

Cathy is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, John A. Mussell; mother, Kathrine Churchill; children, Sean (Loni) Mussell of Mansfield, Kelley (Rod) Penwell of Norwalk, and Jeff (Heather) Mussell of Norwalk; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Carol Lebron, Mike Churchill, Betty Davidson, and Becky Nicui all of Norwalk.

She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Churchill; niece, Erin Kessler; and great grandson, Carter Eldridge.

Visitation for Cathy will be held at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. A funeral service for her will begin after the visitation at 11 a.m. followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
